MY STORY
My works are typically abstract realism paintings made with acrylic and oil paints. The more I played around with mixed mediums, the more I grew to enjoy abstract realism as a way of portraying the natural world in a unique fashion. Starting out, I did not know much about painting, but I was an excellent drawer and learned from there. Through life I found myself preoccupied with family, and did not have as much time as I would have liked for the arts; however, after a recent period of adversity, I felt the urge to reconnect with my artistic spirit. I have learned how to paint with even difficult mediums--in spite of dissuasion from peers--through the Milan Art Institute, and have little intention of stopping my progress there.

create
When planning my works, I try to evoke the ideas of strength, beauty, and enchantment. In several of my works this is done through portraying a strong, majestic female figure with an equally strong, majestic animal. In these works, beauty and nature are made into an inseparable pair, envisioned as though they were made for each other.

Craftswoman
With a big family, several pets, and companies to manage, I find it essential to plan projects properly so as to have enough time when I escape to my studio: "Art World." I start a piece by choosing my subjects (the pairing of animal and woman), then plan it out on the canvas wither either markmaking or drawing. From there, I use a mix of natural and synthetic brushes to apply acrylic and oil paints, usually layering the oils on top of the acrylics for a more vibrant finish.

Discovery
I wish to continue to spread my works, as well as fund and build my artistic passion, experience, and career.
